Thank you for your interest in supporting the 2012 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship as a volunteer. This is the first USGA championship ever held in New Hampshire and we are committed to hosting a warm and well-organized event.
An integral part of the success of this championship will be the support of the community to fill the many volunteer positions required. In this section, you will find job descriptions for each of the necessary positions. There is also a form for you to fill out indicating pertinent personal data and your job preferences.
It is important to note:

1. Morning shifts will typically run from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and afternoon shifts will typically run from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., although some positions will have slightly varying schedules.

2. You will be asked to tell us your job, date and shift preferences, and we will make every effort to assign to you the positions you request. Although we will try to fill your requests, it will not always be possible to do so. Therefore, we appreciate your flexibility in those circumstances.

3. We encourage you to sign up for multiple days and time slots. When you volunteer for one shift, you will receive a uniform consisting of a shirt, nametag and hat. When you volunteer for two shifts, we will give you a wind vest as an extra gift. With three shifts, you will also receive a free round of golf at The Golf Club of New England. Four shifts or more will entitle you to on-site parking.

As we begin to fill all of our required slots, you will be promptly notified of your assignments, training schedule, meal arrangements, parking, transportation and other important details.

We sincerely appreciate your interest, support and commitment. We look forward to working with each of you to create a successful championship.

Thank you
